Job summary

Abbott is seeking a dynamic Medical Device Sales Representative to promote and sell cardiac rhythm management devices across physician offices, labs, distributors and hospitals in a defined US territory.

You will develop business plans, train medical staff on device use, manage inventory and travel to trade shows to showcase new technologies. A Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in healthcare sales or support are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• 2+ years of sales or clinical support experience.
• Aptitude to analyze and evaluate technically complex devices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Abbott medical devices to physicians, laboratories, distributors and hospitals within the assigned territory.
• Build and execute business plans with management to identify and develop new accounts.
• Provide training and information on device use to medical professionals; conduct staff education and in-services.
• Manage patient information and ensure proper documentation and tracing as required.
• Maintain inventory within the territory and monitor competitor activity and pricing.
• Attend trade shows and conferences to showcase products and discuss developments.
