Job summary

Abbott's Portland-based CRM Cardiac Rhythm Management team seeks a Clinical Specialist to provide comprehensive engineering, sales, educational, and clinical support. You’ll respond to field inquiries from physicians, healthcare professionals, and staff, delivering training and product expertise across CRM products.

The role requires a biomedical engineering background, clinical cardiology knowledge, and strong communication. Travel up to 50% and remote Portland-based work are involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of related experience or a program certification from an accredited cardiac training program.
• Must be able to obtain certification in CRM products.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cardiology, electro-physiology, or related procedures.
• Experience with cath lab and operating room procedures and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Clinical interface between medical community and business.
• Build and sustain credible relationships with customers and share product expertise.
• Provide engineering, sales, education, and clinical support in response to field inquiries.
• Develops, leads, and/or facilitates CRM training sessions for healthcare professionals.
• Provide back-up sales support to CRM Sales Representatives.
