Job summary

Abbott is seeking a field-based CRM Product Support Specialist in the Cardiac Rhythm Management division, based in Columbia, SC with potential remote elements. The role requires engineering and clinical support across physicians, healthcare professionals, patients, and field staff.

You will respond to inquiries, maintain product expertise, and support CRM products with training and education programs for healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Bio-Medical Engineering, related field or equivalent healthcare experience.
• 2+ years of related experience or a program certification from an accredited cardiac training program.
• Capability to obtain certification in CRM products.
• Knowledge of cardiology, electro-physiology, or cardiac electro-physiology procedures.
• Familiarity with cath lab and operating room procedures and protocol.
• Advanced knowledge of cardiac pacing systems.
• Ability to interpret and solve complex clinical problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a clinical interface between the medical community and the business.
• Build and sustain credible business relationships with customers and share product expertise.
• Provide engineering, sales, education, and clinical support for CRM products as needed.
• Develop, lead, and facilitate training sessions on CRM products for healthcare professionals.
• Provide back-up support to CRM Sales Representatives.
