Qualifications

• Sales and customer service experience, in a retail-like environment.
• Thrives in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Strong listening skills and customer focus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn and master new technologies.
• Open availability for shifts including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Willingness to shift schedules twice a year as needed.
• Candidates must live within 100 miles of the Customer Experience Center location.

Responsibilities

• Connect with inbound customers online and by phone to determine needs for their next car purchase.
• Guide customers toward vehicles that meet their needs using CarMax inventory knowledge.
• Assist through online sales, appraisals, financing applications, and scheduling vehicle delivery.
• Ensure a seamless online-to-in-store transition for a superior customer experience.
• Mentor others as skills develop.
• Aim to achieve sales targets while delivering iconic customer service.
• Possibly obtain Automotive Sales Person License in required states, with travel as needed.
