Job summary

RESPEC is seeking a seasoned CAPPS Technical Oversight Analyst to guide statewide ERP oversight for CAPPS. You will brief agency leadership, translate technical concepts, and shape strategic roadmaps across 100+ Texas agencies.

The role emphasizes vendor accountability, IT service desk coordination, and adherence to ITIL/SDLC practices within a government context. TX state government experience is essential.

Qualifications

Texas State Government experience is mandatory and must be direct.
Hands-on support of ERP systems in a state environment.
Direct CAPPS Central experience required.
Deep PeopleSoft FSCM/HCM 9.2 knowledge and SQL tooling.
Experience applying SDLC, data integration, and data quality controls.
Experience managing technical roadmaps and vendor SLAs.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic technical oversight for CAPPS ERP across 100+ agencies.
Develop roadmaps, brief executive leadership, and communicate complex concepts.
Monitor vendor performance and ensure SLA compliance.
Oversee IT service operations and ITIL-aligned processes.
