The Chemours Company is seeking a Capital Project Estimator for a hybrid role based in the US. The position supports multiple sites and requires coordinating with teams to deliver accurate project estimates across lifecycle stages.

This role emphasizes experience in petrochemical/industrial estimating, cost libraries, and risk input. Applicants should be prepared for site travel as needed and remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of estimating experience in petrochemical, heavy industrial or related industry.
• Ability to manage multiple project tasks and quickly initiate changes in plan when appropriate.
• Experience in Aspen Capital Cost Estimator and Aspen In Plant Cost estimator.
• Ability to interact with people at all levels within and outside Chemours.

Responsibilities

• Provides business-specific conceptual estimates in support of early investment options.
• Prepares all estimate types based on project progression.
• Ensures estimates meet quality requirements for each step in the project gate process.
• Generate cost reduction concepts and improve project efficiency.
• Lead early estimate plans and updates through project implementation.
• Maintain estimating system cost libraries and historical data.
• Compile benchmark data to gauge estimate performance and competitiveness.
