Qualifications

• Fluency in Cantonese and English with strong cultural awareness.
• Excellent listening, retention and note-taking to ensure accuracy.
• Ability to stay neutral and professional on calls, even with sensitive topics.

Responsibilities

• Respond to video and audio sessions promptly and conduct interpretation professionally.
• Participate in online training sessions and use required devices.
• Deliver interpretation services via video and audio, typing data as needed.
• Render accurate meanings per interpretation protocols and avoid additions or omissions.
• Speak clearly in both languages with accurate pronunciation and polite expressions.
• Maintain composure and professionalism on all sessions, including emergencies such as 911 calls.
