Job summary

AMN Healthcare Language Services is hiring a Video Audio Remote Interpreter for remote shifts covering a wide range of medical, legal, and community interpreting settings via video.

The role supports LEP patients and practitioners, requiring compliance with privacy laws, strong language skills, and readiness to adapt to evolving telehealth platforms. Part-time with 20–28 hours weekly and pay in the $19–$22/hour range.

Qualifications

• Fluent in source and target language with strong verbal skills.
• Medical language proficiency assessment completed.
• Respect LEP clients, culture, dialect and privacy considerations.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video remote interpreting service for consumers.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures of AMN Language Services.
• Exhibit professional behavior including attendance and punctuality; maintain accurate records.
• Adapt quickly to new technologies and complete platform training.
• Pass internal readiness check before live calls.
• Participate in ongoing quality assurance and call monitoring programs.
