Job summary

Nana Management Services, LLC is seeking a Remote Kitchen Helper to maintain sanitation, assist with food prep, stocking, and serving in remote camp locations. The role covers kitchen, storeroom, dining, and service areas, with duties across cleaning, stocking, and basic maintenance.

The candidate should have kitchen experience, be able to stand for long shifts, and work effectively in a team within remote camp environments. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year in a commercial kitchen or vocational training.
• At least 1 year in commercial housekeeping.
• Alaska Food Workers Card and/or ServSafe Certification required on hire.
• Must pass pre-employment testing (drug, physical, fit for duty, hearing).
• Able to live in dormitory style settings; on-site work.
• Must speak/read/write English.

Responsibilities

• Assist cooks and coordinate activities in the food service area.
• Prepare food and cook vegetables, entrees, sauces, meats, etc.
• Stock service areas with products and materials.
• Clean dishes and kitchen equipment; organize storage areas.
• Wash and sanitize surfaces and equipment.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and maintain dining and storage areas.
• Remove garbage; set up and clean tables and serving lines.
• May perform light facility maintenance and laundry duties.
• Travel to remote camps as needed.
