Job summary

Tri-State Orthopaedics is seeking a Call Center Scheduling Specialist to handle patient calls and schedule appointments from a home-based setup with a 90-day on-site training period in Evansville, IN. Regular attendance is essential, with 40 hours per week and shift options from Monday to Friday or rotating start times.

Ideal candidates reside in Indiana with reliable high-speed internet and the ability to come on-site for training. Company equipment will be provided to support remote work.

Qualifications

• Experience in physician’s office preferred.
• Experience with Centricity and SRS preferred.
• Ability to operate phone system equipment.
• Proficient with use of computers including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to learn new computer programs.
• Ability to work under pressure and make decisions.
• Effective written and verbal communication across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Answers the phones in a helpful, friendly and timely manner.
• Assists patients in making appointments.
• Schedules patients based on physician protocols and templates.
• Transfers calls to the appropriate department when necessary.
• Takes messages and sends to appropriate people.
• Creates tasks in SRS so patient messages are documented and addressed.
