Qualifications

• Input patient information including demographics and insurance data.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, high-volume medical practice and multi-task as needed.
• Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
• Computer literacy.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Empathetic personality with concern for patients' needs.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Entry-level experience with willingness to learn in healthcare and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls, input patient information (demographics and insurance) and prepare paperwork for outgoing mailings.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and financial information.
• Interface with clinic personnel, patients/visitors, and staff to ensure positive relationships.
