Qualifications

• Must reside in an eligible state and hold an active California bar license.
• 5+ years of California employment litigation experience, including recent relevant work within the past three years
• Experience defending employers in wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment matters, and related employment matters
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to refrain from all concurrent work throughout the assignment, including other legal employment, contract engagements, or a separate practice

Responsibilities

• Support California employment defense litigation from case assessment through resolution
• Research and analyze California employment law and procedural issues
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents
• Analyze case materials and assist with litigation strategy and preparation
• Collaborate with attorneys to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work
