Job summary

Everforth Apex seeks an Electronics Engineer (Cable & Harness Design) to design electrical harnesses and interconnect systems for advanced platforms. The role emphasizes collaboration across mechanical, electrical, and systems teams, with responsibility for documentation, reviews, and technical leadership.

U.S. citizens with active Secret Clearance are required. Location is Remote (Baltimore, MD Preferred) with a 12-month contract and potential conversion to full-time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related STEM field with 5+ years of experience, OR Master’s with 3+ years, OR PhD with 1+ year.
• Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance is required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical harnesses, cables, and interconnect systems for advanced platforms.
• Support all product lifecycle phases from requirements to system integration and environmental testing.
• Create and modify cable designs and documentation using CAD tools (Siemens NX).
• Lead technical efforts and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Interface with customers and program management to ensure successful project execution.
