Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and fabricate prototype and limited manufacturing programs for C5ISR systems at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. The role involves developing concepts, data packages, and overseeing hardware fabrication including connectors and wiring harnesses.

Candidates must have a BS in Electrical Engineering, 3 years' related experience, and the ability to obtain a US Government Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related technical field with 3 years of related experience.
• Experience fabricating electrical connectors including MIL STD data and power connectors.
• Experience overseeing manufacture of components using injection molding, sheet metal, and machining.

Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate prototype/limited manufacturing programs for C5ISR initiatives.
• Contribute to development of concepts, data packages, and hardware fabrication oversight.
• Perform preliminary design, testing, measurements, and system analyses or simulations.
• Assist CAD designers on electrical design and coordinate with engineers on quality and safety.
• Prepare test plans, assess results, and provide estimates and tracking of expenditures.
