Job summary

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking an Electrical Harness Engineer to shape electrical architectures for mission-critical aircraft systems. You will collaborate with subsystem engineers, produce wiring schematics, and manage supplier relations to ensure flawless integration and execution.

Required hands-on experience with aircraft hardware, CAD tools, and root-cause analysis, plus the ability to obtain an active Secret/Top Secret clearance. This role is based in Palmdale, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience creating electrical schematics or wiring diagrams.
• Experience with Capital Logic, AutoCAD Electrical, or equivalent CAD tool.
• Experience performing root cause/corrective action troubleshooting.
• Hands-on engineering experience with aircraft hardware or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Active Secret/Top Secret Clearance per business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Shape the electrical architecture to enable mission-critical aircraft systems.
• Produce detailed wiring schematic drawings and develop complex power distribution systems.
• Define electrical loads and wiring requirements with subsystem engineers for seamless integration.
• Manage supplier relationships, author statements of work, and coordinate system check-outs.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing processes, resolve build-up issues, and ensure flawless execution.
