Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Baltimore, MD, seeks a Principal Electronics Engineer to design and develop electrical harnesses and cables for multi-domain platforms. You will lead teams, manage schedules and budgets, and collaborate with customers and stakeholders across disciplines.

Strong CAD skills (Siemens NX) and experience with harness components, documentation, and build-to-print processes are required, with active US Secret clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in design and development of electrical harnesses.
• Experience in design, manufacturing, and integration of cables and harnesses.
• Experience selecting harness components and hardware, connectors, backshells, cable and wire.
• Experience with cable diagram hierarchy and build-to-print or specification-controlled work.
• Experience with CAD design tools (Siemens NX) and leading reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead and review technical work products of peers within an IPT.
• Present at design reviews and customer/stakeholder briefings.
• Manage schedule and budget for assigned projects.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions meeting performance and cost targets.
• Support product lifecycle from requirements to environmental tests.
