Job summary

Argo Group is seeking a highly capable Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster for a temporary assignment with an end date of October 9, 2026. The role may be performed in-office or remotely from anywhere in the United States, handling high-technical complexity indemnity claims for CA.

Overtime may be required; timesheets must be submitted accurately and promptly according to policy. Qualified candidates will have CA adjudication experience, CA SIP or WCCA/WCCP designations, and strong

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience adjudicating workers' compensation claims in CA.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required.
• CA SIP designation or WCCA & WCCP designations are required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build lasting relationships.
• Strong claim negotiation skills and customer focus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate higher-technical WC claims with direct impact on results.
• Investigate claims promptly and thoroughly, including interviews.
• Report trends to senior management and underwriters.
• Set reserves and manage diaries to drive best financial outcomes.
• Negotiate settlements and prepare case documentation.
