Job summary

The California Energy Commission is seeking an experienced Electric Generation System Program Specialist II (EGSPS II) to lead a landmark environmental review effort under SB 254. Telework is approved for candidates residing in California, with responsibilities spanning statewide coordination and stakeholder engagement.

As PM and SME for the PEIR, you will manage consultants, coordinate with agencies, oversee schedules, and ensure robust environmental protections while supporting clean energy

Qualifications

• Experience with CEQA and environmental reviews for large infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of environmental field and energy sector.
• Experience leading stakeholder outreach and engagement.
• Experience managing complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PEIR for SB 254 environmental review and ensure compliance.
• Oversee consultants and coordinate with state and local agencies.
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, and budgets.
