Job summary

Core & Main Damage Prevention is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive revenue across California. You will promote CCTV, wastewater infrastructure, and utility locating solutions, with extensive field demonstrations and customer training.

Successful candidates are field‑oriented, consultative, and capable of building strong municipal and contractor relationships. The role emphasizes technical understanding, live demonstrations, and ongoing post‑sale support, with a compensation

Qualifications

3+ years of outside sales experience is required.
Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Must have valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively in California.
Ability to conduct live equipment demonstrations and customer training sessions.
Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Mechanical and technical aptitude and ability to learn complex equipment.

Responsibilities

Drive revenue growth across California with Core & Main's inspection and mapping solutions.
Develop new opportunities and strengthen relationships with existing accounts.
Present and sell the Damage Prevention portfolio to municipalities and utilities.
Conduct hands-on product demonstrations and customer training.
Support post-sale activities and forecasts; maintain a robust sales pipeline.
