The role involves managing disputes across CA state courts, drafting complex pleadings, and coordinating with engineers and contractors.

Qualifications

• Active CA State Bar member.
• 2+ years of general civil litigation experience; transition to construction defect litigation possible.
• First-chair trial experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters across California state courts involving construction defects and property damage.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and mediation briefs.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, geotechnical experts, and contractors to evaluate defects and liability.
• Take and defend depositions of property owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and experts.
• Attend site inspections, court hearings, arbitrations, settlements, mediations, and trials.
• Utilize AI-driven software and digital tools to streamline document analysis and research.
