Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a skilled C# Developer – II with strong .NET, MVC, and API experience for a remote role supporting the Veterans Affairs department. You will work within an Agile team to build, test, and deploy enterprise-grade software.

Required are 5+ years in .NET, RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and cloud familiarity (Azure/AWS). The role emphasizes code quality, CI/CD, and collaboration with stakeholders across the VA project.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of software development experience using .NET technologies.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in CS/engineering or related field.
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs and MVC/.NET Core.
• Proficient in SQL Server and Entity Framework.
• Experience with Azure/AWS and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and implement software components for .NET applications.
• Develop back-end services and APIs, perform unit testing and integration testing.
• Collaborate in Agile teams and participate in stand-ups and code reviews.
• Mentor junior developers and ensure code quality and security best practices.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and monitor app performance and reliability.
