Job summary

Harvard Medical School Information Systems seeks a Business Systems Analyst to lead requirements elicitation, journey mapping, and redesign of business processes. You will design, develop, and implement solutions to streamline HILS operations and data collection, collaborating with the HILS Director and Education Staff throughout the SDLC.

The role requires experience with desktop, mobile, or web apps and databases, with familiarity in Peoplesoft Campus Solutions or Oracle BI/Analytics

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ post-secondary education or relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience designing desktop/mobile/web software applications and relational databases.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions or Oracle BI tools is a plus.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements elicitation and translation into tech requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to map journeys and design future state processes.
• Define system requirements, gap analyses, and prioritization of IT work.
• Document current and future state processes and support prototype reviews.
• Create Agile user stories and coordinate with IT for delivery.
• Assess impact of technology on business and suggest process changes.
• Assist with change management and training materials.
