Job summary

Moda Health is seeking a seasoned IT or business analyst to gather and document business requirements and design for IT projects. You will lead small to mid-sized systems projects, write functional specs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.

The role supports a FT WFH arrangement in a healthcare environment. A college degree or equivalent experience plus health-insurance domain exposure are preferred; strong writing, communication, and SQL familiarity are

Qualifications

• 2+ years of analysis experience (technical or business).
• Proficient with PC, Server-based and desktop apps including spreadsheets/word processing.
• Able to facilitate large and small meetings or working sessions.
• Proven skills in critical thinking, time management and problem solving.
• Demonstrated writing skills for documentation and communication.
• Able to work in a project team and collaborate with peers.
• Ability to learn/read/execute SQL statements as applicable.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional business image.
• Resilient work ethic, punctuality and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements.
• Define and document detailed functional specifications for systems.
• Collaborate with project teams on conversion, interface and enhancements.
• Develop test plans and oversee testing for system changes.
• Support post-implementation QA and troubleshooting.
