Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking a Business Systems Analyst I to translate business needs into effective technology solutions within IT - Enterprise Platforms Servicing Applications. This exempt role reports to the Manager - Enterprise Cores and Applications and is remote for California residents.

You will document requirements, support software implementations, participate in Agile processes, create user stories, and provide Tier 1 application support for enterprise-wide solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial or health services, including technical business analysis.
• Experience working in an Agile environment or Azure DevOps is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle for enterprise software solutions by analyzing and documenting business needs.
• Drives joint business/IT requirements discussions with stakeholders.
• Delivers high-quality analytical system solutions for key stakeholders.
• Identifies software functional gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborates with product owners to create product backlogs using Agile practices.
• Creates user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Participates in projects as technical SME from start to finish.
• Participates in daily scrums, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews.
• Supports Agile practices and service improvements.
• Designs process flows, technical requirements, diagrams, and models for the development team.
• Provides Tier 1 application support for day-to-day operations.
• Troubleshoots issues and acts as escalation point for incidents.
• Manages administrative functions like forms, reports, saved searches, dashboards, and RBAC.
• Communicates progress and resolution updates clearly to users per SLAs.
• Collaborates with third-party providers and internal teams for solutions and production issues.
• Establishes strong relationships with business lines and technical teams.
• Participates in on-call support for critical after-hours issues.
