Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking a Business Resilience Engineer to strengthen the organization’s ability to anticipate, withstand, and recover from cyber threats and disruptions. The role focuses on improving resilience across processes, data, and technology with senior leadership collaboration.

You will lead BIA initiatives, develop recovery strategies, and oversee exercises, ensuring regulatory compliance and effective crisis management while supporting ongoing resilience improvements across Regions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical/business field and ten (10) years of experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Incident Management/Response, Cyber Security, IT Risk Management, IT Audit or related experience.
• Or High School Diploma with fourteen (14) years of related experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Incident Management/Response, Cyber Security, IT Risk Management, IT Audit or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads enhancement of the Business Impact Analysis (BIA) methodology and conducts BIA sessions with business units.
• Develops advanced cyber recovery strategies with business process owners and tests recovery capabilities.
• Identifies process interdependencies and determines Regions’ critical path for resilience.
• Plans and administers resilience exercises with business leaders.
• Develops and maintains process maps for resiliency management activities and incident reporting.
• Ensures compliance with FFIEC regulations and risk management programs.
• Develops communications and reporting on resiliency, testing deficiencies, and action plans.
