Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking a Business Resilience Engineer to help the organization prepare for disruptions from cyber threats and natural disasters while maintaining critical operations. You will support incident response, recoverability testing, and resilience planning across business units.

The role requires a strong background in business continuity, cyber risk, and IT governance, with experience in reporting and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with 10 years of relevant experience.
• Alternative: high school diploma with 14 years of related experience in business continuity or cyber risk.
• Certifications preferred: CBCP, CISSP, CISA, CISM.

Responsibilities

• Leads enhancement of BIA methodology and conducts sessions with business units.
• Develops cyber recovery strategies and tests technology recovery capabilities.
• Plans and administers resilience exercises with business leaders.
• Maintains process maps reflecting resilience activities and regulatory requirements.
• Creates reporting on resiliency, readiness, and incident management.
