Zusammenfassung

KeyBank is seeking a Resiliency Engineer to design, build, and continuously improve the reliability of technology platforms across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. You will automate recovery, validate resilience, and work with cross-functional teams to meet RTO/RPO targets.

The role requires hands-on coding, distributed systems reasoning, and the ability to lead live recovery exercises while aligning with regulatory requirements and internal standards.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, IT, or engineering.
• Hands-on coding and automation with Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Knowledge of on-premises and public cloud (GCP/Azure) and high-availability design.

Aufgaben

• Design and code automation to reduce toil and create auditable recovery workflows.
• Develop IaC, scripts, and pipelines to provision and validate recovery environments.
• Build self-healing patterns, health checks, and automated recovery validation.
• Plan and execute disaster recovery tests and chaos experiments to expose weaknesses.
• Facilitate resiliency reviews and cross-team recovery exercises with stakeholders.
