Job summary
U.S. Bank is seeking a Principal Technologist for Resiliency & Availability to lead enterprise-wide resiliency, recovery, and data protection initiatives.
You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and business units to ensure reliable, compliant operations across servers, storage, networking, databases, middleware, cloud, and mainframe environments. The role requires strong communication skills to translate technical concepts for executives, audits, and regulators, and to influence
Qualifications
- 15+ years in infrastructure technology or related field.
- Broad expertise across servers, storage, networking, databases, cloud.
- Strong resiliency, recovery, data protection concepts.
- Ability to influence roadmaps and communicate with executives.
- Experience creating executive communications and business cases.
Responsibilities
- Maintain understanding of resiliency and data protection capabilities across Infrastructure Technology.
- Assess capability maturity and identify opportunities to improve resilience and availability.
- Drive adoption of modern resiliency, recovery, and availability capabilities.
- Develop executive presentations, strategy documents, and maturity assessments.
- Translate complex technical capabilities into clear content for executive audiences.
- Partner with Corporate Risk, Audit Services, and regulatory organizations.
