Job summary

RESPEC is seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Business Operations & Analysis, Intermediate, to support Indian Affairs and Office of Information Technology programs. The role focuses on analyzing current operations, defining business needs, and pursuing modernization initiatives in collaboration with government stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience providing business analysis services to management and technical personnel supporting federal IT investments.
• Experience applying ITIL practices, change management, and IT service‑request fulfillment.
• Strong written and verbal communication, facilitation, interviewing, training, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, validate, document, and manage business, functional, technical, and system requirements.
• Map current-state, interim-state, and future-state processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs.
• Support testing, implementation, and knowledge transfer to ensure successful operational changes.
• Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and service delivery.
