Job summary

RESPEC is seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Business Operations & Analysis, Intermediate, to support Indian Affairs and Office of Information Technology programs. You will analyze operations, define business needs, evaluate alternatives, and help modernize IA environments with data-driven approaches.

You will work closely with government stakeholders, project managers, technical teams, security personnel, and contractors to deliver actionable requirements and improved service delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience providing business analysis services to management and technical personnel supporting federal IT investments.
• Strong written and verbal communication, facilitation, interviewing, training, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, validate, document, and manage requirements across business, functional, technical, and system domains.
• Map current, interim, and future-state processes to identify opportunities for improvement and modernization.
• Create user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and backlogs for development teams.
• Develop artifacts for NIST 800-53 control assessments and privacy/security documentation.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders, vendors, and contractors to ensure requirements are understood and implemented.
