Mission Recruiting, LLC is seeking a litigation attorney for a fully remote role based out of El Segundo, CA. You will work directly with managing partners on sophisticated business disputes, with a clear partnership track and mentorship, and a compensation package including base salary, bonuses, and origination commissions.

The role handles both plaintiff and defendant matters with a focus on business litigation, requiring active CA Bar membership and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation experience with a strong focus on business litigation, handling both plaintiff and defendant matters.
• Real estate litigation experience a plus; employment defense, complex litigation, or general civil litigation backgrounds also considered
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures
• Active California Bar membership in good standing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanor under pressure

Responsibilities

• Prepare and draft legal documents, motions, and pleadings
• Conduct legal research and manage all phases of discovery
• Attend and conduct depositions, mediations, and trials
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court proceedings
• Support managing partners on litigation matters
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to provide client service
