Job summary

Mission Recruiting, LLC is seeking a litigation attorney to work directly with managing partners on sophisticated business and real estate disputes. This role offers a clear partnership track, continuous mentorship, and a compensation package designed for top performers.

You will handle both plaintiff and defendant matters across business, real estate, and civil litigation, with hybrid or fully remote flexibility from the El Segundo office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation experience handling both plaintiff and defendant matters.
• Business and real estate litigation experience preferred; employment defense, complex litigation, or general civil litigation backgrounds also considered.
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures.
• Active California Bar membership in good standing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanor under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and draft legal documents, motions, and pleadings.
• Conduct legal research and manage all phases of discovery.
• Attend and conduct depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court proceedings.
• Support managing partners on litigation matters.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to provide client service.
