Career Consulting Partners is seeking a Senior Civil Litigation Attorney in El Segundo, CA, to handle complex disputes in business and real estate law. You will manage high-stakes litigation, draft pivotal motions, and drive discovery and depositions with strategic client guidance and collaboration.

The role welcomes transitioning litigators with a strong foundation in discovery, depositions, and pre-trial advocacy, ready to pivot toward commercial and real estate litigation.

Qualifications

• Active member of the California Bar in good standing (Required).
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 5–15 years civil litigation experience focused on business/real estate matters.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills with dispositive motions experience.
• Experience taking/defending depositions and handling court proceedings.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation from pre-litigation through trial and post-trial.
• Draft, review, and argue complex pleadings, MSJs, demurrers, and pre-trial motions.
• Design and execute discovery strategies, manage document productions, and handle disputes.
• Take and defend depositions; represent clients in state and federal court hearings.
• Prepare for mediations/arbitrations and develop trial briefs and witness outlines.
• Maintain high-level client communication aligned with financial and commercial goals.
