Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned Business Litigation Attorney for a hybrid remote/hybrid role in Riverside, CA. You will manage all facets of complex business litigation, from court appearances to drafting pleadings and negotiating settlements, while coordinating with a team of attorneys and staff.

The ideal candidate has a JD, 5+ years of litigation experience, and a California license, with strong analytical and negotiation skills. This role offers remote or hybrid work with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school.
At least 5 years of business litigation experience.
Active California bar license.
Experience in dispute resolution, arbitration, and mediation.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in legal research software and MS Office.
High ethical standards and integrity.

Responsibilities

Representing clients in court or before government agencies.
Preparing and drafting legal documents, such as pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and briefs.
Conducting extensive legal research and analysis of laws, regulations, and legal articles.
Negotiating settlements for legal disputes.
Complying with all legal standards and regulations.
Performing risk analysis and advising clients on potential legal issues.
Providing guidance and counsel to clients on business litigation matters.
Coordinating with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure efficient and effective case management.
