Job summary

AccountMakers is seeking a Business Development Director for a remote role based in Atlanta, GA, traveling to meet clients and attend events. You will drive new business, expand key client relationships, and shape revenue growth across a multi-state territory.

The role requires consultative sales leadership, strategic planning, and excellent relationship-building with insurance carriers, employers, and other partners. OTE and base salary are outlined with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business development or related sales fields.
• Proven ability to develop new business and grow strategic accounts.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business development initiatives for new client acquisition.
• Build and expand relationships with key clients, referral partners, and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and pursue new business.
• Collaborate with sales leadership, account management, and cross-functional teams.
• Analyze market trends and competitive activity to refine strategies.
• Deliver presentations, proposals, and business reviews to clients.
• Represent the organization at industry events and client meetings.
