Shaping Lives is seeking a remote Business Development Manager to drive apprenticeship sales and build partnerships with Schools, Academies and MATs across the UK. You will manage a full sales cycle from prospecting to enrolment, with a focus on Teaching Assistant and Safeguarding programmes.

The role requires a proven track record in winning new business in education, strong relationship-building with senior leaders, and the ability to work autonomously in a fully remote setup.

Competenze

• Proven success in apprenticeship sales, employer engagement, or business development.
• Experience building a new business sales desk, territory, or pipeline from scratch and exceeding targets.
• Experience selling apprenticeship programmes to Schools, Academies, and MATs; knowledge of education sector.

Mansioni

• Achieve and exceed apprenticeship enrolment, revenue, and sales targets through a proactive new business development approach.
• Build a sustainable pipeline of opportunities from scratch in Schools, Academies, and MATs.
• Identify, engage and secure partnerships with senior decision-makers (Headteachers, Trust Leaders, SBMs, HR Leaders, Directors).
• Promote and sell apprenticeship programmes (Teaching Assistant, Specialist Teaching Assistant Level 5, Safeguarding).
• Develop tailored apprenticeship solutions aligned to organisational objectives and recruitment challenges.
• Provide guidance on apprenticeship funding, levy and non-levy opportunities, and ROI.
• Deliver presentations and consultative sales discussions positioning Shaping Lives as a partner.
• Build long-term relationships for repeat business and partnerships.
• Maintain CRM records, forecasts, and pipeline management.
