Transcard, a Chattanooga-based fintech company, offers a paid Business Development Intern program focused on sales support, outbound outreach, and client discovery. You’ll work with the Sales – Business Development team to meet academic goals while gaining real-world experience in payments technology.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a related bachelor’s degree, enjoy building relationships, and want to learn about financial services.

Qualifications

Completed or currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proactive, learning mindset, and interest in financial services/fintech.

Responsibilities

Identify potential clients and opportunities while promoting financial solutions.
Build knowledge of financial services technologies.
Conduct outbound outreach and leverage networking platforms to expand the customer base.
Research prospects and connect with industry contacts to generate discovery meetings.
Maintain and organize prospect data in CRM tools to support follow-up efforts.
Assist in reviewing RFIs/RFPs and contribute to client-facing proposals.
