Job summary

Pairs is hiring a Business Development Associate to bring growth-stage founders into our platform, from the initial call to the start of engagement. You will read the business quickly, assess fit, and present our process and fees clearly, closing when appropriate.

You will work directly with the co-founders and closing team, maintaining a precise pipeline and concrete outcomes. This fully remote role requires US Eastern overlap and sharp deal-read.

Qualifications

• Sell a financial, advisory, or capital-markets service to founders or executives and articulate value.
• Read a company's numbers quickly and ask the right follow-up questions (revenue, burn, runway, round structure).
• Maintain a disciplined, accurate pipeline with clear outcomes and conversion metrics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct first calls with founders to assess fit and potential impact.
• Qualify what raising needs are and who decides.
• Coordinate a clean handoff with the next team member and document the read.
• Maintain and update a precise founder pipeline until an outcome is reached.
