Job summary

Vaughn & Associates, a Texas-based business brokerage firm, is seeking a remote Business Broker to guide owners and buyers through the sale and acquisition process. The position is offered as full-time or part-time and can be performed remotely.

You will source and qualify clients, perform valuations, prepare listings, and manage confidential marketing while coordinating with lenders, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to structure deals that meet client goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in business brokerage and end-to-end transactions.
• Valuation and financial analysis to support pricing decisions.
• Strong understanding of cash flow, profitability, and deal structures.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple deals.
• M&A, commercial lending, franchising, or small business advisory experience is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Familiar with CRM systems and digital tools for pipeline management.

Responsibilities

• Source and qualify potential clients for sale or acquisition.
• Conduct preliminary business valuations to inform pricing.
• Prepare listing materials and confidential marketing for listings.
• Coordinate communications among buyers, sellers, lenders, and counsel.
• Facilitate negotiations and structure deals aligned with client goals.
• Maintain accurate transaction documentation and data-driven pricing.
• Provide timely updates to all parties throughout the deal.
• Develop pipeline through networking and market research.
