Job summary

TISTA Science and Technology Corporation is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to support the VA Supply Chain Management DevSecOps program in Rockville, MD. You will lead requirements elicitation, backlog refinement, and business process analysis, translating stakeholders' needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for delivery.

Collaborate with VA product owners, architects, cybersecurity, data, UX, and testing teams; ensure traceability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

6+ years of business analysis on federal IT programs.
Experience developing Epics, Features, User Stories, acceptance criteria and refined backlogs.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and related Agile tools.

Responsibilities

Lead requirements elicitation through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and backlog refinement sessions.
Translate business needs into Initiatives, Epics, Features, User Stories and acceptance criteria.
Develop scope, requirements, estimates, risks, dependencies, and team-sizing recommendations.
Analyze and document business processes, rules, data requirements, and workflows.
Maintain requirements traceability through design, development, testing, and release.
Collaborate with VA Product Owners, architects, engineers, cybersecurity, data, UX, and testing teams.
Support Agile planning, product metrics, requirements reporting, and continuous improvement.
Contribute to business growth and process improvement initiatives.
