Job summary

Nippon Sanso Matheson is seeking a remote Bulk Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee repair, maintenance, and calibration of our fleet. You will work with Bulk Terminal Managers and Mechanics to uphold safety and reliability across the U.S. network, and approve large-scale repairs to improve profitability.

Reporting to the Director of Transportation, you will coach technicians, analyze downtime, and implement best practices to enhance fleet performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with fleet maintenance or logistics is preferred.
• Strong computer literacy with Word/Excel/Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with excellent communication.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Foster safe working environment with Bulk Terminal Managers.
• Coach and develop bulk Mechanics.
• Reduce maintenance costs and downtime across the fleet.
• Research vehicle failures and implement corrective actions.
• Utilize bulk maintenance software to manage shop inventory.
• Approve large-scale repairs ($10k and up).
• Develop best practices and communicate with the Director of Transportation.
