Qualifications

• Knowledge of codes, ordinances and regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speech.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with contractors, engineers and property owners.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site inspections for IRC, IBC, IFC, UPC, IEBC, and related codes and ensure compliance with approved plans.
• Review building plans and provide written/verbal interpretations and corrections.
• Issue stop-work notices and corrective actions when needed, and coordinate with stakeholders.
