Keystone Building Consultants is seeking experienced professionals in construction, insurance appraisal, or mitigation to join as Building Consultants. This is a flexible, contract-based opportunity for individuals with a background in general contracting, estimating, or insurance claims, who will act as third-party experts within the insurance industry.

As a Building Consultant, you will evaluate property damage, prepare professional estimates and reports, and deliver expert insights for

Competenze

• Experience in general contracting, construction, home remodeling, mitigation, or related fields.
• Contractor's license (if required in your state).
• Hands-on experience with insurance-related repairs or claims estimating.
• Proficiency in estimating methods (time & materials) and software-based systems.
• Experience with Symbility, Matterport, DocuSketch, or Hover is a plus.
• Strong written communication skills; able to travel for field inspections.

Mansioni

• Respond to assignments promptly and schedule inspections within 24 hours.
• Conduct onsite property inspections within 7 days of assignment.
• Inspect rooftops and crawlspaces and document findings.
• Prepare detailed photo reports and cost estimates using Xactimate or similar.
• Collaborate with managing consultant during reviews and respond within 24 hours.
• Travel to CAT events as needed.
• Communicate with policyholders, engineers, and adjusters; provide expert testimony when required.
