Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree plus 2 years of federal budgeting or related experience.
• Ability to transform data into concise spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent oral presentation skills for management briefings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with senior leaders and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide budget planning and execution support for NOAA/NWS.
• Pull reports from NOAA financial systems like EBS, EDW and FMDS.
• Summarize data for monthly commitment, obligation and contract status reports.
• Assist with creating and monitoring monthly and annual obligation plans.
• Track funds transferred from other FMCs and understand accounting codes.
• Transform data into Excel and PowerPoint presentations; support NWS reviews.
