FourLeaf Federal Credit Union in Bethpage, NY seeks a BSA/AML Case Analyst to conduct mid-risk and continuation case investigations using Verafin, write SARs, and escalate high-risk activity to leadership. The role requires a risk-based approach, detailed documentation, and thorough record retention for audits.

The position supports regulatory reviews, 314(a)/(b) requests, and ongoing BSA/AML training. Hybrid or remote work options are available with a comprehensive benefits package including

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in BSA/AML, law enforcement, fraud, or financial crime compliance.
• At least 1 year of SAR writing experience.
• CAMS certification or plan to obtain within 6 months.
• Verafin and Fiserv DNA experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigate Tier 1 cases and referrals using Verafin; conduct research and document findings.
• Determine suspicious activity and assess BSA/AML risk; advise on escalation or account closure.
• Coordinate with Retail/Business Banking, Fraud, Legal, and Compliance to gather information.
• Issue RFIs to validate member activity and supporting information.
• Write and submit SARs and Continuing Activity SARs per FinCEN rules and deadlines.
• Escalate high-risk cases immediately to the BSA/AML Officer or High Risk Ops manager.
• Assist in 314(a)/(b) information sharing; verify legitimacy and document disclosures.
• Provide SME training to junior analysts, specialists, or contractors.
• Stay current on regulatory developments and support the Compliance Officer.
