Job summary

Wesco's Broadband Support Center is seeking a Specialist - Technical Sales to drive large projects and grow specialized product lines. You will present to customers, support the sales team, and address post-sale issues, playing a key role in technical and commercial decision-making throughout the sales cycle.

You will engage in pre and post-sales activities, build expertise in product groups, and collaborate on sales calls.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's in Engineering or Business preferred.
• 1+ years broadband/electrical industry experience.
• 3+ years sales experience in related industry.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Calls on clients, management and representatives to promote desirability of technical products or services.
• Provides technical services to clients relating to specified products.
• Gathers, analyzes and shares technical information and solutions with internal and external customers.
• First line of pre/post technical sales support for sales teams.
• Develops product group expertise and participates in joint sales calls.
• Maintains relationships with vendor product managers and selling resources.
