Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Bridge Engineer (PE) for a remote/Indianapolis-based role with a leading civil engineering firm. You will lead the design and delivery of complex bridge projects from planning through final design, coordinating with DOTs, owners, and project teams.

Requires a Civil Engineering degree (BS or MS), 4+ years in bridge/transportation structures, and an active PE license. Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD and state DOT standards is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, structural focus preferred.
• 4+ years of bridge engineering or transportation structures experience.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of complex bridge/transportation projects from planning to final design.
• Coordinate with DOTs, local agencies, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Develop design alternatives considering integrity, constructability, and regulation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship on bridge analysis and rehab projects.
• Oversee multidisciplinary teams and ensure quality, scope, and schedule.
