EMCS, Inc. is seeking an experienced structural engineer to design and detail bridges and other infrastructure across multiple Midwest states.

The role involves analyzing complex bridge structures, performing site visits, and preparing plans in accordance with AASHTO LRFD standards. A BS or MS in Civil/Structural Eng with 4–8 years of bridge design experience and Indiana PE or eligibility within 6 months is required.

Qualifikationen

• BS or MS in Civil/Structural Engineering required.
• Indiana PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 4–8 years of bridge design experience with local, highway, and interchange bridges.

• Design calculations and plan prep for bridge projects per design standards.
• Perform site visits and inspections of transportation structures and report findings.
• Develop concepts and size proposed structures.
• Compute quantities, costs, and specifications for structures projects.
• Prepare load ratings for transportation structures.
• Conduct hydraulic design and scour analysis for new and existing structures.
