Thimble Alterations partners with bridal boutiques to offer expert bridal and formalwear alterations. You will handle gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and mother-of-the-bride/groom pieces with precision, including hems, zippers, beading, and fit.

As an independent contractor, you set your schedule, work from home, and accept client requests that fit your availability. You’ll build a reputation through quality work and timely fittings while maintaining an organized workspace.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience with bridal and/or women's formalwear alterations.
• Strong garment construction knowledge and precision measuring.
• Machine and hand sewing proficiency.
• Professional communication and customer service.

Aufgaben

• Alter wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and mother-of-the-bride/groom dresses (hemming, bustle, bodice/waist, straps, cups, zippers).
• Work with structured bridal gowns (lace, beading, layers, linings).
• Conduct fittings, take measurements, and communicate timelines clearly.
• Deliver high-quality finishing and maintain an organized workspace for fittings.
