Thimble Alterations is building a network of independent alteration professionals in the United States, focusing on bridal and wedding wear. As a contractor, you will tailor wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and mother-of-the-bride/groom gowns, applying precision finishing and timely communication.

You’ll enjoy flexible scheduling, access to local client requests through the platform, and the opportunity to grow repeat clients and reviews through your profile while working from home.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with bridal and/or women's formalwear alterations.
• Strong garment construction knowledge and precise measuring.
• Machine and hand sewing proficiency.
• Professional communication and customer service.

Responsabilités

• Alter wedding gowns, bridesmaid and mother‑of‑the‑bride/groom dresses (hemming, bustle, bodice/waist, straps, cups, zippers).
• Work with structured bridal gowns (multiple layers, lace, beading, linings, boning/tulle).
• Conduct fittings, take precise measurements, and communicate timelines clearly.
• Deliver high-quality finishing and maintain an organized workspace suitable for fittings.
